1. Who we are
xpobeam ("we", "us") is an event management platform that helps organizers, exhibitors and attendees connect at trade events. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
When you or your event organizer create an account, we process:
- Identification and contact data: name, company name, tax ID, email address and phone number.
- Event activity: visits registered by scanning QR codes, orders or information requests, notes, ratings and comments.
- Technical and analytics data: device and usage information collected through cookies (Google Analytics).
3. How we use your data
- To operate the event: display exhibitor directories, floor plans and visit history to event participants.
- To send transactional notifications about your event activity — including WhatsApp messages, only when you have given your consent at the moment of registering or rating a visit. You can decline each notification individually.
- To measure and improve the platform.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the platform work: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business API, for the notifications you consent to) and Google (analytics). Your contact details are also visible to the event counterpart when a visit is registered (e.g. the exhibitor you visited), as this is the purpose of the platform.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active or while it is needed to operate the event you participate in. You may request deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw any consent you have given, by contacting us at the address below or through your event organizer.
